Krakowiak Polish Dancers of Boston

The adult group meets from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday evenings at Golds Gym in Needham, MA. The dancers arrive 15 minutes ahead of time to change into rehearsal clothes. At the begining of the class the group does warm-up excercises and practices dance steps, for about an hour. The rest of the rehearsal is dedicated to rehearsing choreographed arrangements or learning new ones. After two or three hours of hard work the dancers usually go out to for refreshments.
The dancers are eiiher Polish, Polish American, or American. Anyone is welcome to join us no matter what country or orgin they are from. In the group you will learn about he Polish culture, along with the dance steps and songs. As an aerobic workout it's about as unique and rewarding as it gets!
Hi, my name is Kate, I have been in the group for twelve years now, and I love it. We have a great time as a group. It really feels like a second family. We travel all over Europe and America. This year we are going to Canada where we wil meet groups from all over America. It's a great feeling to get on stage in a beautifull costume and perform for a large audience it's as crazy as theatre can be.
